Lesson 9 - The Doctrine of Election

Our assignment is to continue to read the pamphlet "What Does the Bible Say About Election?" by Bro. Zack Guess. As we read this, let us answer the following questions:

Questions:

1. What is the final destiny of an individual whom God elects to salvation?

2. Which Person in the Holy Trinity elected people to salvation? (1 Peter 1:2)

3. When did the work of God's election take place? (Eph. 1:4; II Tim. 1:9)

4. Was God obligated to save anyone? Why or why not?

5. Why did God choose some persons to salvation and others He did not?

6. Was there any thing in man that caused God to choose to elect him?
