"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world."

Matthew 28:19-20

"I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvatin to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith."

Romans 1:14-17

"Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation: But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand."

Romans 15:19-21

We believe that it is the responsibility of each God called minister of the gospel to preach the word wherever the Spirit may direct. It is the obligation of the church to aid and support its ministry in the work that God has called them to do.

We reject the notion that evangelism consists only of the preaching of the gospel in foreign lands where resistance to the truths of God's word is obvious. Perhaps the greatest field of evangelism today is to be found in our own backyard, in our neighborhoods, in our families. The power of the Holy Spirit in the message of the gospel transforms lives and brings about worship wherever it is received.

If we have experienced the power of the Word in our lives, then we feel a sense of obligation or debt to our fellow man to share with others what God has done for us. The apostle Paul describes his desire to preach the Gospel as a debt that must be paid.

In the Ephesian letter we read, "Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God." In this text we find Paul's motivation for ministry, and the church's responsibility for manifesting the work and wisdom of God.

We are committed to laboring in our community to assist those in need and to show the love of Christ through acts of service and compassion. We are committed to preaching the gospel wherever the Lord may open doors of opportunity.

We are committed to the support and aid of those ministries which presently labor in foreign lands enduring the afflictions of the gospel that they might share the hope that is ours in Jesus Christ.
